Multi-Media Advertising Consultant

Night Shift/Production Director

• Have working knowledge of all aspects of newspaper production, including administration, press/platemaking, mailroom operations, electro-mechanical, plant maintenance departments as well as printing of the daily Times-Tribune newspapers, Niche products and commercial printing. • Be knowledgeable, personable and have the ability to work well in a management team. • Be able to work with production employees as well as other managers to find creative solutions to the challenges of producing a daily newspaper. • Be responsible for review and evaluation of night shift personnel. • Be able to develop and operate within a budget. • Will have input with the purchasing of new equipment, supplies and consumables including newsprint.

Management experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required. The ability to motivate staff is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet are essential.
